Locations

We’ll build your family’s new home on almost any local lot we (or you) can acquire (or already own)! Below are some lots we have available. If one of these lots isn’t perfect for your family, please contact us–there may be additional options not shown.

Custom Floor Plans

We’ll build almost any custom floor plan for your family. Regardless of where you start–with one of our named floor plans (shown below), or with one of the many floor plans we’ve drawn and built over the years (not shown below), or with a floor plan you have in your head (not shown below)–we’ll help you customize everything so the final version of your floor plans can best meet your family’s needs!

About Us

Gordon Milar Construction has been family owned and operated since 1997. Over the years, we have built hundreds of custom homes ranging in size from 1,200 square foot ramblers to 10,000+ square foot two-stories. We build on large estate lots and on very small lots. We build on flat lots and on steep slopes. We build some homes which have many steps from the house to various parts of the yard, and others which have no steps from the house into the yard. We build some homes which have elevators, suspended slab garages, custom theater rooms, detached garages, solar panels, septic tanks, wells, swimming pools, tennis courts, and so much more. We help design and build every style of home, including modern, craftsman, traditional, and colonial.

Gordon Milar Construction is respected as a local premier custom home builder for families in Utah. At any given time, we typically have several dozen custom homes we are working on building in Salt Lake and Utah counties, and we occasionally even build in Davis, Summit, and Tooele counties. We are small enough to be flexible in our designs and processes, but large enough to establish and maintain long-term relationships with critical industry partners. We always strive to keep all our pricing fair and to help you appropriately balance style with functionality and cost.

At Gordon Milar Construction, we believe that we should build, “Your home, your way,” not, “Our home, our way.” We invite and value your opinions and feedback during each phase of the building process. We strive to help you understand the various benefits and disadvantages of options available to you during the designing and building processes. We want to work with you to help take your family’s dream home from a vision in your head to a place your family can call home.
